The imposing Romanesque Church was built in the 11th century, and perfectly preserves paintings and frescoes that were added through the years. One of the highlights of the museum, is the collection of cannons, torpedoes, navigational instruments, uniforms, medals, and other objects that offer insight into the lives of sailors and the naval forces throughout history.

One of the many hidden gems on the Ligurian coast, Lerici is just a short distance (about 20 minutes by car) from La Spezia. Towering on a promontory over the sea, when arriving to Lerici you will be greeted by the majestic medieval castle.
The fortress rises at the entry of the bay and dominates the area. For an entrance fee (5β¬) you can visit the inside and climb to the top for a panoramic view of the bay and the Gulf of the Poets as well. The interiors were once home to a palaeontology museum that is now closed. Occasionally it hosts art exhibitions.
The town itself is a delightful maze of narrow streets, colorful houses, and quaint squares. Stroll along the promenade, lined with palm trees and dotted with outdoor cafes, and savor the serene beauty of the Ligurian coastline.

Discover the marvelous Cinque Terre
As the Italian name says, Cinque Terre are five villages (literally five lands) perched on dramatic cliffs on the Ligurian Sea. The UNESCO World Heritage Site comprises Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore.
Each village retains its distinct character and charm, with narrow streets, pastel-colored houses, and picturesque harbors. The rugged hiking trails that wind along the cliffs offer breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, while the turquoise waters beckon visitors for a refreshing swim.
Cinque Terre are without a doubt one of the most scenic locations in Italy and every year they attract million tourists. One of the best ways to explore them is by taking the train day ticket from Trenitalia or a small group boat tour (of course not for the same budget) to explore the coast from the sea.

The Salvation Islands are among the most famous destinations in the world for dark tourism. Prisoner Henry CharriΓ¨re made them world-known when he published his memoirs in the book “Papillon” (butterfly from French). Narrating his tormented years on the islands, the book shows the difficult living conditions prisoners and guardians endured through the 100 years the prisons were active.
Nowadays the remains of the buildings are still in very good condition and you can visit them on a one day trip from Kourou or even spend the night there inside the Royal Island’s only hotel.
The Salvation Islands are also one of the few places in French Guiana that benefits of crystal waters as it’s far from the coast. Enjoying the tropical ambience while also learning about the history of French Guiana, make the Salvation Islands one of its most important attractions.
Would you like to know more about the Salvation Islands history and how to explore them? In this detailed guide I tell you everything. From getting there to what to expect and see.
Guiana Space Center
Renowned as the gateway to space, the Kourou Space Centre is a must-visit for any science enthusiast. Explore the launch pads, gain a deeper understanding of humankind’s exploration of the final frontier, and if you are lucky witness the launch of a rocket.
The Kourou Space Centre is not only a hub for launching satellites and spacecraft but also a vibrant scientific community. Scientists, engineers, and researchers from around the world gather at the center to collaborate on cutting-edge space missions and technologies.
Visitors to the spaceport sometimes have the chance to witness ongoing preparations for future launches, providing a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes work that goes into each mission.
Marais de Kaw Natural Reserve
Marais de Kaw Natural Reserve is a captivating destination for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts situated nearby Roura. It’s a vast and diverse wetland ecosystem that offers the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and observe a wide variety of bird species, mammals, and reptilian (mainly caimans) in their natural habitat.
One of the best ways to explore the area is by taking a leisurely cruise along its winding waterways. You can choose among two different solutions:
Caiman Ecolodge is a large floating wooden structure, very similar to a carbet that is on three different levels. The ground floor is the living area, the first floor is for sleeping in hammocks, while the highest level is a private area you can reserve. Excursions to navigate the marshes are onboard of small pirogues, and include also night activities to observe the stars and caimans.
Le Morpho is a floating boat where you can sleep, that also has access to its roof for observing birds and animals, and (why not?) even jumping from the roof into the reserve waters. All the activities are onboard of the Morpho boat, including fishing. At night you can observe the caimans hunting or if the sky is clear stargazing.
The reserve also plays an important role in conservation efforts, as it provides a protected sanctuary for numerous plant and animal species. By visiting and supporting the local economy, you will contribute to the preservation of this delicate and unique ecosystem.
Drawing a natural border between Brazil, Suriname, and French Guiana, the Tumuk Humak Mountains are more a series of hills than a mountain range, with the highest peaks being between 600 and 700 meters. The inaccessibility of the place and its remoteness make it one of the most interesting places to visit in French Guiana. In addition, of course, to its amazing beauty.
As you traverse the rugged trails, you’ll encounter a myriad of flora and fauna, including orchids, bromeliads, and a rich variety of bird species. You will also have the incredible feeling of going back in time.
Guided tours are the best and safest way to enjoy immersive journey inside the lungs of the Earth. The 10-days expedition of Guyane Evasion is one of the best ways to explore the area as you will be with an expert guide.
The Tumuk Humak Mountains are a testament to the untouched beauty of French Guiana and the Amazonian Forest. With its rugged landscapes, rich biodiversity, and cultural heritage, this mountain range offers a unique and unforgettable adventure for those willing to venture into its unspoiled wilderness.

Petit Saut Submerged Forest
Located within the heart of the Amazon rainforest, Petit Saut Submerged Forest is one of the most unique natural (but also artificial) wonders in French Guiana.
The area changed its aspect following the construction of a hydroelectric dam on the Sinnamary River, which caused the surrounding forest to be submerged.
After 30 years, the ghostly remnants of this submerged forest creates an unique landscape, with towering tree trunks rising eerily from the tranquil waters. The sight is both haunting and enchanting. And even though you may be tempted bathing in the lakes tranquil waters I would avoid that because of the underwater fauna that lives in the lake (caimans, anacondas, and giant catfishes).
Exploring Petit Saut by renting a kayak or with pirogue tours is ideal thanks also to multiple days formulas allowing you to explore more of the lake, including the abandoned Anamites Prison. Pirogue excursions like Guyane Evasion are the best services for beginners and experts alike.
Would you like to know more about Petit Saut? Check out our complete guide to organize the perfect trip.
Cacao Village
Home to the Hmong community, Cacao Village is nestled in the hills and can be reached within two hours from Kourou or an hour from Cayenne. But what makes this village lost in the hills, one of the most unique places to visit in French Guiana? Its vibrant community, delicious food, and the insects museum.
Every Sunday the Hmong market offers a feast for the senses with its vibrant colors and enticing aromas. Don’t miss the opportunity to taste the traditional soup and indulge in the delightful Nam Van drink.
Another must-visit is the Insects Museum, known as Le planeur bleu, where you can explore the fascinating history of Cacao and admire an impressive collection of insects, including living spiders, butterflies, and beetles.
The village also hosts the annual Rambutan Harvesting event, around the month of April, allowing visitors to partake in the harvest of these juicy fruits. And if you’re visiting in November, make sure to attend the Hmong New Year Celebrations, where you can witness traditional dances and immerse yourself in the culture of the Hmong community.
It’s an exciting journey that presents an opportunity to encounter indigenous communities that reside along the river, providing insights into their way of life and cultural traditions.
Some practical info: don’t forget to pack your raincoat, sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and a small pillow for the bumpy ride. Ideally you should bring a wet suit to protect you from the sun rays also, they filter better than clothes and sun at the equator hits stronger.
For organizing your trip you can choose from different providers, the easiest ones to contact are Jal Voyages and Guyane Evasion.
Pro tip: When choosing between the upriver or downriver, I’d advise you to go with the first option. Your adventure will climax in the end with the arrival to the most remote villages. And it’s also a bit longer as you navigate against the stream.
Saul village
Saul Village is a hidden gem that offers a unique and immersive experience for travelers seeking to connect with nature. Situated in the middle of the Amazonian Forest, this remote village is accessible by one type of transport only: plane.
Even though there are archaeological finds attesting an ancient Amerindian presence, the history of Saul is very recent. At the end of the 19th century the thirst for gold attracted the attention of Antillean immigrants and in particular from Saint Lucia. Saul was the name of one of the first gold diggers who installed in the region.
Nowadays nature enthusiasts can explore the hiking trails nearby. Since its location is in the heart of the Amazonian region, bird watching and wildlife spotting can be very interesting and relatively easier than in other parts of French Guiana.
Accommodation options in Saul Village are essentially rustic cabins similar to carbets, which provides an authentic experience of living in harmony with nature. The evenings offer an opportunity for stargazing, as the absence of light pollution allows the brilliance of the night sky to shine through.
French Guiana Zoo is a sanctuary displaying only local animals that were rescued from injuries or that were born with an handicap. For this reason, don’t be surprised if you see an animal limping. Illustrative panels are there to explain more about the animal history and the species characteristics.
Try to match your visit on the zoo’s feeding schedule to admire the animals eating, and especially the larger caimans that are difficult to see otherwise.
Visiting French Guiana Zoo is an excellent activity that will let you admire the region’s animals that are difficult to spot in their natural habitat.
IlΓͺt la MΓ¨re, the Monkey Island
IlΓͺt la MΓ¨re is the largest island in Remire-Montjoly commune, 49 hectares. Anciently it hosted one of French Guiana’s infamous prisons. But today what makes this small island one of the most incredible places in French Guiana, is the community of squirrel monkeys that lives on it.
Let me warn you: if you are afraid of monkeys and wild animals you should avoid visiting it, as the community is very friendly and they won’t hesitate jumping on you and also try to steal small objects and food.
Remember though these little adorable monkeys can be quite intrusive!
One last word on the most amazing places in French Guiana
French Guiana is a destination that offers a captivating blend of natural wonders, cultural richness, and intriguing history. Whether you’re an adventure seeker, a nature enthusiast, or a history buff, this overseas territory has something to offer everyone. From the awe-inspiring Kourou Space Center to the amazing jewels hidden by the Amazonian Forest, be ready to live and incredible experience!

Wadi Rum is an otherworldly wonderland nestled in the heart of Jordan’s mesmerizing desert. Its incredible red dunes and towering rock formations transport visitors to another planet. How not think of Mars? Wadi Rum was in fact the set of “The Martian” just to mention one of the many sci-fi movies filmed there. Would you like to go, but have absolutely no clue where to stay in Wadi Rum? Among the unique accommodations available you can either splurge in one of the beautiful bubble camps or choose the Bedouin lifestyle in one of their traditional camps. In this blog post we will help you choose!

Where to stay in Wadi Rum post? Steal our choices!
Don’t have the time to read the whole post? Steal our picks for an unforgettable experience!
Best luxurious accommodations: I’ll give you two. For its incredible decoration and attention to detail, Memories Aicha Luxury Camp is one of my top picks. The aesthetic of this camp is simply incredible!
For a romantic experience Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel is particularly ideal for couples. From the hot tubs to the heart-shaped dining area, Bubble Luxotel has it all for the perfect couple’s getaway!
Best budget-friendly (and sustainable) accommodation: Desert Magic Camp & Resort is not only one of the best traditional Bedouin camps. But they also make huge efforts to be sustainable by being one of the few camps to use solar energy. They are very aware of the impact of mass tourism in the desert and try to reduce their ecological footprint.
The Best Bubble Camps in Wadi Rum
The allure of bubble camps lies in their blend of comfort, privacy, and an unobstructed view of the starlit night sky. These transparent domes, nestled amidst the rugged desert terrain, offer an immersive experience that allows you to connect with nature in an extraordinary way. Stargazing at night while comfortably sitting in your bed and waking up to the gentle glow of the sunrise, it’s a unique experience that you will gladly invest in.
With the help of this comparative table let’s find the perfect solution for you!
Remember: the number of bubbles is very limited and the demand is high. Try to make your reservation as soon as possible.
Price: 200-250β¬ Activities (with additional charges): Hot air balloon flight, walking tours, 4WD safari, camel riding, hiking.
Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp is the highest-rated bubble camp on booking! Their service is considered one of the best in the desert. They offer two types of accommodation: traditional tents and Martian Bubbles.
The bubbles are located behind the tents, but the view is still amazing. Both accommodations are very spacious.
Another great point of Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp is its full transparency. On their website, you will find all the prices for the activities and their accommodation.
Check out the prices/make your reservation on Booking.

When the Martian movie was filmed from November to December 2014, the idea of proposing a similar experience to the movie’s semi-spherical domes came to mind. The owner of Sun City Camp was the first to put it in reality with their Martian Domes inside their camp.
Nowadays, even with new luxury camps springing up like mushrooms, Sun City Camp manages to keep their accommodation one of the best in the Moon Valley.
One of the best things about Sun City Camp is that you can observe the traditional cooking in the sand.
Check out the prices/make your reservation on Booking.
Luxotel is one of the most luxurious options in Wadi Rum. Their bubbles have three separate living spaces: a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. In addition to that, they also have a private terrace where you can relax or take a dip in the hot tub. Their bubbles are all about comfort and luxury.
Another advantage of Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel, is its position. While you will find some camps don’t have so much space between them, Luxotel is in a secluded area. Neighboring UFO Luxotel is part of the same camp and they also share the same facilities.
Luxotel has also excellent stargazing activities, with the help of experts and portable telescopes you will spend an excellent evening. You can book these activities once you are at the camp.
UFO Luxotel is the budget-friendly version of Bubble Luxotel (see above). Situated nearby the same rock formation that backs Bubble Luxotel, UFO’s bubbles are still incredibly spacious. They have also a private terrace, with a hammock and a dining table.
Luxotel stargazing nights are an excellent experience to learn more about our constellations and the planets in our solar system. If you are passionate about astronomy don’t miss this!
Check out the prices/make your reservation on Expedia.
Situated close to Sun City Camp Zeina is ideal for families their 4 places luxurious panoramic view suite is ideal to enjoy Wadi Rum with your kids. For couples looking for a romantic getaway, they also have the classic Martian Domes.
Check out the prices/make your reservation on Booking.
Wanna experience the Bedouin lifestyle? These traditional Bedouin camps are the ideal solution for you! You will get to sleep in their tents while enjoying Wadi Rum’s incredible landscape. Can it get any better than this? Their prices are very competitive!
Wadi Rum Magic Nature Camp is the highest-rated Bedouin camp on Booking. Thanks to their competitive prices you will be able to save on your stay without losing on comfort and quality, their tents are still very spacious.
Only con? They don’t have many activities proposed, if you are staying with them make sure to arrange your jeep tour or camel ride when you are at the Visitor Center.
Check out the prices/make your reservation onBooking.
Wadi Rum Dream Camp offers a blend of traditional Bedouin hospitality and modern comforts. The camp’s traditional Bedouin-style tents provide a cozy and authentic atmosphere, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the desert’s magic. Their warmth and service are great!
Check out the prices/make your reservation on Booking.
Providing their energy from solar panels, Desert Magic Camp & Resort is one of the most sustainable Bedouin camps in the desert. Run by a family you can really feel the warmth and friendliness of the staff.
The tents are also very well decorated and there is great attention to detail. One of the best camps to stay in!
Check out the prices/make your reservation on Booking.
No, inside the Wadi Rum reserve, you won’t find a drop of alcohol. Not in the camps and not even in the tourist center. If you want to bring some drinks consider buying them in Amman, Petra, or Aqaba.
WiFi in the camps
Many camps claim to have it. But when it comes to usability, based on experiences (not only mine) from different camps, it will be available only in some restricted areas. And it probably won’t work very well.
My point is, enjoy this precious time to unplug from the internet/socials and connect with your inner self and your travel companions. If you are afraid of boredom bring a good old book.
Do the camps offer extra activities? (4WD ride, camel ride)
When you are inside the camps you can often book extra activities like the 4WD tours or camel rides. Although at the camps (especially the luxurious ones), they often cost more than if you book directly at the visitors center. My advice is to contact the camp you are staying in before your trip and ask about the prices for their extra activities.
Most camps don’t have their own tours but they support the Bedouin tours, if you book directly with the Bedouin you will save on their commission, which is not free. You can also contact the visitors center before your arrival (we didn’t get an answer, but maybe you will be luckier than us!).
One word about luxury in the desert
Remember where you are. The desert is a place hostile to life with very particular conditions. The temperatures range, the sun, and the sand makes it difficult to keep everything in optimal condition. And you are kilometers away from other cities.
So don’t be surprised if everything isn’t a top-notch luxury, try to be understanding. And if you are looking to splurge on the best hotels in Jordan, check out our post about the most luxurious hotels in Aqaba.
Which will you choose: Martian Dome or traditional Bedouin tents?
No matter where you will decide to stay in Wadi Rum, you are sure to see one of the most incredible places on Earth (or Mars?). So don’t forget a hat and sunscreen and enjoy! Whether you are planning a road trip to Jordan or Petra deep exploration check out our guides to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

In Stockholm the metro system is much more than a mode of transportation. In reality, it’s also an underground art gallery that delights both locals and visitors.
Many of the metro stations feature captivating artwork, vibrant murals, and unique designs, adding a touch of creativity and color to the daily commute.
Among the most impressive stations to visit how not to mention T-Centralen, Solna Centrum, and KungstrΓ€dgΓ₯rden?! But there are so many more to see!
In this detailed blog post, I’ve included the 13 most beautiful metro stations in Stockholm with pictures so that you can easily create your metro bucket list.
Stortorget in Gamla Stan
Entry fee: free
Stortorget is the main square of Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s Old Town. Among all the most iconic places in Stockholm this is probably the most evocative together with the Vasa Museum.
The colorful square will transport you back in time with its rich history and undeniable charm. As you step onto the cobblestone streets and admire the facades of the buildings, you will feel the enchant of the medieval atmosphere that permeates the square.
Although not all the buildings are medieval, the majority of them was built in the same architectural style, except of course for Stockholm Stock Exchange Building, that now host the Nobel Prize Museum.
The vibrant hues provide a stunning backdrop for your Instagram photos, especially when the sunlight casts a warm glow upon them. Whether you capture the square bustling with activity or find a quiet corner to showcase its timeless beauty, Stortorget is one of the most iconic photographic places in Stockholm.
PrΓ€stgatan and Gamla Stan narrow streets
Entry fee: free
Exploring the narrow streets of Gamla Stan is like stepping into a fairytale. Among these charming alleys, PrΓ€stgatan stands out as a hidden gem that embodies the essence of Stockholm’s past.
The red, yellow, and orange medieval buildings, the ornate details adorning the doorways and windows. Everything remind of a past time. Well almost everything! Among the lovely bars and restaurants you will also find souvenirs shops.
The perfect place to take some photos while shopping at the same time. In the evening, the soft glow of lanterns illuminates PrΓ€stgatan, casting a magical ambiance that is simply irresistible.
MonteliusvΓ€gen
Entry fee: free
Are you seeking breathtaking panoramic views of Stockholm? Then you will love MonteliusvΓ€gen! Perched atop the hill of SΓΆdermalm, this scenic walking path offers a stunning vista of the city’s skyline, stretching from the iconic spires of Gamla Stan and Riddarholmen to the serene waters of Lake MΓ€laren.
The 500 meters long panoramic walk features charming Swedish houses on one side and uninterrupted vistas on the other. Whether you choose to visit during the golden hour at sunrise or the enchanting twilight of sunset, the ever-changing light creates a magical ambiance that enhances the beauty of the landscape.

Riddarholmen water front view
Entry fee: free
For an awe-inspiring panoramic view of Stockholm’s picturesque skyline, head to the East waterfront area of Riddarholmen. At the opposite of Gamla Stan the area has stunning views of Stockholm’s City Hall and Sodermalm.
After taking some shoots consider having lunch or dinner at the panoramic restaurant on board of the amazing MΓ€lardrottningen Yatch Hotel. MΓ€lardrottningen was also the hotel we choose for our Stockholm stay and I couldn’t be happier with our choice!
Weather you are going at the golden hour or during the day you are sure that you will have some incredible views in Riddarholmen.
Stockholm City Hall, known as Stadshuset, stands proudly on the waterfront of Kungsholmen Island. Besides being an iconic landmark Stockholm’s City Hall hosts also the prestigious Nobel Prize banquet.
While the interior boasts stunning mosaics, golden accents, and sweeping staircases, the exterior features ornate brickwork, arches, and sculptures.
You could either reserve a guided tour inside Stadshuset, or take some photos from Riddarholmen to photograph the whole majestic building.
Wanna have a peak into the life of the rich society of Stockholm in the early 1900? Step into the Hallwyl Museum and be transported to a bygone era of opulence and luxury.
Housed inside a beautifully preserved building, this museum offers a glimpse into the extravagant lifestyle of a wealthy Stockholm family from the late 19th century.
The interiors are an incredible collection of ancient furniture and exquisite artwork. From the intricate details of the ornate ceilings to the rich textures of the tapestries, every corner of the Hallwyl Museum can become the ideal set for memorable photos.
Pro tip: if you can, dress with a dark cape like the personnel inside the museum. The “wow” effect on your pictures is guaranteed!
Brunkeberg Tunnel
Entry fee: free
One of the most unique photo spots in Stockholm is the Brunkeberg Tunnel. This underground pedestrian passage is no ordinary walkway. Its sleek geometric design creates a futuristic and visually striking backdrop.
The tunnel’s colorful LED lights add an element of vibrancy and dynamism, transforming it into an otherworldly setting that is a true feast for the eyes.
Tips for visiting: Brunkeberg Tunnel has become very popular and you may find many tourists and people during the day. Try to go late in the afternoon as regular people have finished to work and there are also less tourists around.
There are many iconic buildings in Stockholm, Swedish design is absolutely top notch, but Stockholms Stadsbibliotek (City Library) is one of the most ideal for passionate photographers and Instagrammers.
Designed by the renowned architect Gunnar Asplund the library is a testament to modernist architecture. Its cylindrical shape and intricate facade, draw the eye, inviting you to capture the library’s unique blend of form and function.
As you explore the exterior, the play of light and shadows across the facade creates a dynamic interplay that adds depth and visual interest to your photos.
Stockholms Stadsbibliotek is a very popular photographic spot in Stockholm, nevertheless remember you are in a library and be respectful of people quietly studying and reading.
As you make your way into DjurgΓ₯rden, from Swedish the Game Park, you’ll be greeted by a magnificent iron blue gate that serves as a gateway to the ancient kings park.
The grandeur of the gate is truly awe-inspiring, with its beautiful design and golden accents. After taking a shot or two don’t forget to admire Ostermalm’s waterfront.
DjurgΓ₯rden Blue Gate’s position is interesting also for another reason. In fact, it’s situated just a few minutes away from the amazing Vasa Museum and the beautiful Nordiska Museum’s exhibits. Don’t forget to visit them before leaving!
Nestled on DjurgΓ₯rden Island, Skansen is an enchanting open-air museum that brings Sweden’s cultural heritage to life. Spanning over 75 acres, this unique attraction showcases traditional Swedish houses, farms, and workshops from various regions of the country.
As you wander through Skansen, you’ll be transported back in time, immersing yourself in the customs, traditions, and crafts of Sweden’s past. The picturesque landscapes, lush gardens, and charming streets of this living museum provide an ideal backdrop for Instagram-worthy photos.
From capturing the intricate details of the historic buildings to posing with costumed actors, Skansen offers countless opportunities to capture the timeless beauty and cultural richness of Sweden.
Located in the heart of Stockholm, Fotografiska is much more than a museum, it’s a sensory experience. For art lovers and passionate about photography the museum is indeed very interesting.
The museum’s galleries are adorned with state-of-the-art lighting and carefully curated displays. From capturing the intricate details of thought-provoking photographs to framing the innovative installations that adorn the walls, Fotografiska offers endless opportunities to capture the beauty and creativity of the photographic art form.
Fotografiska hasn’t a permanent exhibition, but you can check out what’s on display and what will be in the future on their website: Welcome to Fotografiska Stockholm.
Note: The access to the museum from Slussen Metro Station is not easy to find. The metro station is currently under renovation. In the future it should be easier to get to the waterfront and Fotografiska entrance. The entry ticket is quite expensive (about 20β¬), you can save money thanks to the Go City Pass.
FjΓ€llgatan
Entry fee: free
Stockholm raises on archipelago, and for this reason it may look hilly. But there are a very few places that have FjΓ€llgatan’s incredible view. This scenic overlook situated in the SΓΆdermalm district, offers one of the best panoramic views of the city’s islands.
When is the best time to visit? There are a few doubts that at dawn or sunset the warm colors of the sky, the shimmering lights of the cityscape, and the vast expanse of the archipelago create a picture-perfect setting.
Don’t forget to capture the charming wooden houses that line the streets and the verdant landscapes that surround the overlook, adding an extra layer of natural beauty to your Instagram feed.
Situated a few minutes away from the city center, the Avicii Arena (formerly known as the Ericsson Globe) is an architectural marvel that offers a unique perspective on the city.
The white bubble is the largest spherical building on Earth and as you can imagine the view from the top is absolutely incredible! How to go on top? With the SkyView bubbles. These lifts that have the same round shape of the Arena will bring you on the top of the globe where you will see the most amazing views.
SkyView tickets are included in your Go City Pass. Although, if you are traveling during the high season and not convinced about buying the Go City Pass you can consider make the reservation and booking directly on their site: SkyView.
It will take you about 40 minutes to get to SnΓΆsΓ€tra from the city center. But if you have the time, it’s absolutely worth it! The SnΓΆsΓ€tra Graffiti Wall of Fame is a paradise for street art enthusiasts.
This ever-evolving outdoor gallery is an explosion of creativity through vibrant murals and captivating graffiti pieces from local and international artists. From larger-than-life murals that depict intricate narratives to bold and expressive graffiti tags that showcase the individual styles of artists, SnΓΆsΓ€tra Graffiti Wall of Fame offers an endless array of Instagram-worthy shots.
Every visit to this dynamic art space is a unique experience, as new artworks replace old ones, ensuring that each snapshot captures a moment in time within the vibrant world of street art.
